As a business owner, mother, and entrepreneur, I can honestly say that I can’t do it all—at least not perfectly! There’s real substance to the idea of working smart, not hard, and that means being strategic about how you spend your time. Time is one of the most valuable resources we have, and once it’s gone, we can’t get it back.

With that in mind, we asked 12 incredible members to share the habits that help keep them on track. Here’s what they had to say:

"A simple habit that has always helped me stay on top of my work is my daily to-do list!"

For Manisha Sharma, founder of her eponymous consulting firm, the to-do list is her secret weapon. "They are key to maximizing my workday, especially when I have limited time to work without the distractions of a demanding toddler," she says. Her lists serve as a step-by-step roadmap, keeping her focused, enabling her to prioritize, and ensuring that she achieves her daily goals.

Manisha also offers a helping hand to those struggling to get started. "If you’re feeling overwhelmed, reach out to me, and I’ll be happy to help get you started on the right path."
