🤍 PANEL INFORMATION:
[3:00 PM - 3:45 PM] Panel 1 - ⭐ Inclusive Leadership: Empowering Women of All Walks of Life
"Inclusive Leadership" refers to a leadership approach that values and embraces diversity in all its forms, including gender, race, age, ethnicity, background, and more. It recognizes that diverse perspectives, experiences, and skills are essential for fostering innovation, creativity, and sustainable growth within organizations and society as a whole. Empowering women of all walks of life is a crucial aspect of inclusive leadership.
Moderated by Sarah Vee, Founder of Women of Hong Kong & The Women's Lounge
- Anushka Purohit, Founder of Breer
- Abby Cadman, Founder of Gingers
- Stephanie Ng, Founder & Executive Director of Body Banter
[4:15 PM - 5:00 PM] Panel 2 - ⭐ Challenging Ageism: Women paving new Paths in the Second Half of Life
Ageism is the prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination based on age, particularly against older individuals. It involves judging someone solely based on age, overlooking their abilities and contributions. This bias can impact employment, healthcare, social interactions, and media representation.
Challenging ageism means rethinking societal attitudes towards aging. It's about reshaping stereotypes and embracing a positive, inclusive view of all ages. It recognizes the value, wisdom, and contributions people of all ages bring. It emphasizes treating everyone with respect and fairness, regardless of age.
Moderator: Sonia Samtani, CEO of All About You Wellness Centre
- Lindsey McAlister, Founder of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation
- Barbara Yu Larsson, Founder and CEO of PAKT
- Ann Tsang, Founder of Curious Things
[5:30 PM - 6:15 PM] Panel 3 - ⭐ Amplifying Voices: Empowering Women through Effective Communication
While the intention behind people-pleasing may come from a desire to be liked and accepted, it can inadvertently perpetuate a lack of diversity of thoughts and perspectives. Inclusion, on the other hand, aims to create environments where individuals of various backgrounds, identities, and perspectives feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute authentically.
Moderator: Jen Flowers, Group and ASP Head of Customer Intelligence and Partnerships, Wealth and Personal Banking, HSBC
- Isabel Wong, Founder of Proudly Asian
- Crisel Consunji, Founder of Baumhaus
- Yamilette Cano, Founder of Louder
